Default Black RS/Z & the 1/8 mile... any suggestions?

We are going to take the Black RS/Z to the drag strip tonight... got some MT ET streets 8.5 tread width 26" tall.
Been out doing launches on the street and figure we are going to have to launch around 5500RPM to keep the Revs up and shift it around 7000-7200...
May have to richen up the secondaries...
Anyone else been dragging a fairly stock 69 Z?
Any suggestions?

It really has a day 2 look with the M/T's mounted on Ralley wheels.

The good lakewood traction bars and hurst drag shocks on the front.
We were out on the street launching it at 4000-4500 and it would spin for 10-15 ft and when it would get traction it would bog a little...

1/8 mile?

ET sucks but the speed is impressive!

Hey, post a picture of the car...a black Z with stickies on rallys...NICE!

Good luck to ya...only things I can think of are make sure your timing is in quickly, and might wanna go to a lighter secondary spring...bad thing about a small block is they're a little more finicky about launch rpm and what not...a big block has a little more torque so can go from anywhere, but sometimes it's either bog or spin with a small cube...where's Sammy, I bet he's full of "good info" on small blocks!
