i'm running a pan evac set up for my breathers so i'm limited to using mopar style push in breathers . now i do somewhat remember using a screwdriver i think or a chisel to knock those plugs out but it's been awhile .do i punch them out from the inside or from the outside ??

Bud they will fit on the side of the cover or you can mill off the top of the cover where the M/T is and attached them with mounting screws. They are baffled on the inside which works pretty well. Here is a picture of some smaller ones to give you an idea of what the inside looks like. Mark

Yep, I was gonna' say a hammer and screwdriver too. Add a few expletives during the process and you should be good to go!

Man I like those breathers pretty cool piece, pm me with what you want for a pair for BB covers.
I would not bang out the knockout today, go buy a cheap holesaw bit from home depot so you dont break them, I recall one set where a little to much came off and it would blow a dribble of oil past the grommet and always needing cleaning. ![]() |

Just a thought......How about finding a set already punched? It's getting harder to find nice covers that have not had the snot smacked out of them...

I have an NOS set of M/T BB chevy valve covers on Ebay right now (see parts for sale section for link)They are NOS but had something spilled or dumped on them and need to be polished but they have never been punched or installed on anything, If they don't sell, I am going to have them done
