This is the original 12 bolt housing, axles and date coded drums out of a 1970 SS-396 El Camino I recently sold. It's in great shape with just a small amount of pitting on top of the "pumpkin" area. It was cast on "L 17 9", December 17, 1969. The rear numbers are "CCW 0219B2" which means it was originally a 3.31 open 12 bolt built on Feb 19 in Buffalo NY...second shift. The car it was in was an 03B, or early March 1970 Baltimore built Elky. There are no internals in this rear....it's the housing, axles, drums and brakes only. The housing carrier caps are there and I'm sorry I didn't take a photo with the cover off. The drums are original, date coded and freshly cut. They haven't been installed since I cut them. The rear will fit in any 68 to 72 General Motors A body car but please do your own research to be sure. There are high resolution photos at

I'll build a box/crate for it and it will ship via UPS Freight where I get a discount over 50%. You will pay ONLY the actual cost for shipping. It's also available for local pickup and I can also deliver it to Spring Carlisle if that helps anyone.
E-mail me if you have any questions I haven't answered.
