Default Odd ZL/2 component on ebay - comments please

Gentlemen,

I came across this in my ebay travels today. I've never
seen anything like it. The seller claims it is for the
crossram setup in conjunction with the ZL/2 hood.

Can any of you verify its lineage?

GM made a some... not many Steel Cross Ram hoods. that is the cross ram steel induction set up to be spot welded into a real steel cowl hood.

Heartbeat city sells a steel Xram hood so I'm guessing this piece was stamped with the same equipment.

Hey Jim - Greenville SC huh?

I see you live just down a road from me.

Is this ebay auction for a GM piece, or reproduction?
That's what I'm trying to figure out.....

Very cool item but the same seller has sold a bunch of these loose also w/ complete hoods he's modified and mounted the assy to...all carefully worded but he mentions in one it's a Goodmark hood he's started with..

Check out the side exhaust pieces he ended the auction early on too!.

YA, someone with a "0" feedback rating decides their first foray into EBAY is to drop $1400 on some specialty part of questionable authenticity. SHILL BID...
