dunno sounds like he thinks he has gold, I had a '73 about the same 2 yrs ago, a roller, fact tach, nice dash pad, blk int setup for 4spd, rebuilt front susp etc, a decent heap only neg couple small blisters in the quartes about the size of a nickle, had a hell of time getting $1500 for it.

Cannot see any of the pictures on the link. 6K sounds high. Several years ago I gave $1,000.00 for a 72 in very solid condition. I had been taken apart, but the only thing I had to replace was the piece that goes between the rear glass and the trunk. Again that was years ago.

I cant see any pix, so based on the description, I'd say it's worth around $2500.

I would surely tell him to KEEP IT for that amount of $$$! I would say $1500.00 to $2500.00 depending on a first hand inspection and not relying on pictures! He must have seen that Camaro from Oregon go across the block at Barrett Jackson!

I know the guy pretty well. He would sell it I am sure.
He bought it along with a few others. A guy had some cars but only wanted to sell them all at once. He wanted a 68 Camaro and his friend wanted the 70 Nova. He loves the old school stuff. |
