Ever have one of those days?
Well, I'm having one of those months...I bought these wheels a month or so ago and they were described as 4-1/2" bolt pattern for Mopars. I guess not everyone on ebay knows how to use a ruler and measure bolt patterns correctly. So these newly purchased "allegedly 4-1/12" bolt pattern" wheels turned out to be real 4-3/4" GM bolt pattern wheels. So, as a result, I have a pair of nearly NOS, skinny Cragar SS rims for sale. They are the very rare, single bolt pattern (not unilug) rims that havn't been available for about 20 years. (The date code on these wheels is 07/16/86). If you went into a speed shop in 1970, this is the wheel you would have gotten, not the later, one-size-fits-all, unilugs. This is the 15x4 inch version. This particular width wheel has not been available from Cragar for years, as it was later superceded by a 15x4-1/2 inch wide version. If you are doing a "Period Correct" Day 2 restoration, these are the perfect rims for that vintage 1960's "fat and skinny" musclecar stance. They are 15 x 4 inches wide and are the GM 4-3/4 inch bolt pattern that fit just about every old GM musclecar out there. They are in beautiful shape and have their original chrome intact. There is very minor roughness around the mounting hole flanges but I don't think I've ever seen a Cragar (even brand new ones) that didn't have these. The outer rims are perfect with no curb damage, in fact I don't think these were ever mounted on a car: look at the lug holes and the back side in the photos. The tires do not go with the wheels. They are already dismounted. The wheels are being sold with no reserve, so what ever they bid to is what they sell for. Here are the photos I posted on ebay. If you need any others I can take more. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...em=320209391303 P.S. The Good Lord must have a sense of humor because I just received my second pair of alleged 4-1/2" bolt pattern 15x8 rims on Friday and of course they ended up being 4" bolt pattern (Chrysler A-body only). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Glad you like them. If only they had been the right size I would have kept them. But, I think the Charger had other plans (she wanted only HER original wheels back and no substitutes - I guess she knew the rears were close by)
