Does anyone have any tips on trying to remove a hose nipple from an aluminum manifold.. Or is it just hold you breath and twist!!!!

I would heat the aluminum up well before removal. It will expand and make removal easier and less damaging.

I use Mapp gas and have never had a problem. I think Mapp Gas is hotter.

FWIW, sometimes tightening a pipe fitting first will expand the hole making loosening it easier.
