help with dealer and zone #

I'm looking at a car with a dealer number of 050 and a zone # of 49, anybody know what those are? Thanks for your help.

Zone 49 dealer 500[i assume you have a typo with 050???] would be for WM H Seaman Chev in Fleetwood PA..

Not a Typo, guy read it off tank sticker on a 1968 Corvette, Dealer 050, zone 49, I personally haven't seen the sticker myself but that is what he is telling me over the phone. Thanks all for your help.

It might be 650,which would make it Wiggins Chevrolet in Lancaster,Pa. during 1968.
Zone 49 was quite broad,as I've looked at cars that were sold from Harrisburg,York,Lancaster,Pottstown & Reading Pa.,to name a few,and all showing Zone 49 on their Docs.

I know this for a fact as I entered this into my list off a protecto plate stamping.
