69 Chevelle SS 396/350HP 4-speed all #s match-MINT
69 Chevelle SS 396/350HP was frame off restored and was a southern car its whole life. Original matching numbers 396/350hp engine and M-21 tranny were both rebuilt along with the 373 geared 12 bolt. Color was changed from original brown (sorry..yech!) to black with white side stripes. 15" rallies with BF Goodrich tires were added along with a 2.5" flowmaster exhaust and all new heavy duty sway bars and polygraphite suspension and bushings. Car has a rare Cloth insert bench seat. Everything is New or redone. Very nice show quality car. Price is $45,000 or serious offers. Located in Taunton, Mass. You are entitled to your opinion, but I disagree. Burnished Brown is oh so cool!  It'll just lul the competition into a slumber and then WHAM...it's all over.

I dont think the color change is the reason im not getting any serious offers. Lots of nice musclecars have had color changes. If you want a concourse correct car that is flawless you know the price would be at least $10-15k more than im asking. Ive sold many nice cars with color changes. Thanks for the analysis of why it hasnt sold yet though. id imagine its because the musclecar market is a bit slow right now and there ofetn arent many serious buyers on these type of boards either. Trying to avoid Evilbay..........

[/ QUOTE ] IMO, I see more serious buying going on here than most boards...I agree, it's a soft market for some cars and for me anyways, the color change does make a difference. It's a nice car and good luck with the sale!! Mike
