Default 1969 Camaro SS RS 396 4-Speed Restored Rust Free

This car was restored before I bought it a few years ago and driven rarely. It is an original rust free California built 1969 SS RS 396 Camaro. When the car was restored all the parts were refinished separately. The fit and finish is very good and still looks excellent from top to bottom. The car is optioned with deluxe black interior, rosewood steering wheel, factory tach, console gauges, cowl induction hood, power steering, power front disc brakes, rear spoiler, Muncie M-20 4-speed and 12-bolt 3:73 posi rear end. When I found the car the original motor was gone so I had installed a Bill Mitchell 540 big block. The engine has just a few hundred miles on it since it was installed and all the parts used are new brand name parts. The engine made a little over 600 horsepower on the dyno while it was being broken in by the engine builder with a different intake and carb in very mild street tune. The motor has been dressed to look like a 396/375hp L-78 with a date coded 163 intake, factory style chrome valve covers and a cowl induction air cleaner asm. I was bored over the winter so I changed the car to look more original. When I found the car it had L-78 specific items like a single fuel line from the tank, deep groove pulleys, and a 6000 rpm redline tach. The car is not numbers matching and I do not have any documentation but I doubt you will find a nicer car from top to bottom. Plus you can not beat the sound of a 600hp solid lifter big block running through ceramic coated 2 inch primary pipe headers going into a 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust system. $59,900.00 I would be interested in trading for a 1969 SS 350 Camaro, 1968-1970 SS nova or 1965-1972 SS Chevelle and money. Please e-mail me at [email protected] if you have any questions or if you want more pictures. Thanks for looking,
Mark Sheppard
