I think people are getting carried away with the term "clone". They think just because they put Yenko stripes on a car it's a clone. Here is a 69 ElCamino Yenko "clone".

He might just be using "Clone" as a search trigger. In his description clone is not used, it says "with Yenko stripes".

Some people just have fun with it. If you know these cars you know its not real. This past weekend I passed a late 80's Camaro with Yenko stripes. He knew it was not a Yenko, I knew it was not a Yenko and non-car people could care less. In fact when I passed him I was driving my 88 Monte Carlo SS with a genuine Nickey sticker on the back. He saw it and gave thumbs up. Just having fun with the hobby and not fooling anyone.
