Default 69 Camaro foldown seat

I'm familiar with 68 and 67 foldown seat assemblies. The 67 uses two clips to hold the upper seat back in the upright position(Great until you slam on the brakes).Engineers go back to the drawing board and in 68 they put a latch on the RH side to "lock" the seat in position and still retained the one clip on the drivers side.As I remember the clip had a dual screw rubber bumper attachment. This was mounted on the rear seat/trunk partition with a corresponding chrome clip on the seat back for the clip to snap over.I thought the only difference between a 68 and 69 set up was the size of the hump on the seat back but upon inspecting an "alleged" 69 rear seat I see no indication that drivers side chrome clip was ever mounted(as its retained by a single screw)Does a 69 seat not use a clip, just a rubber bumper?Any F/D seat experts out there?
