It's RPO U-46 also called Lamp Monitoring System,or Vigilites.
It is a very scarce option that puts headlight sensors mounted atop each side of the fenders,and a rear sensor on top of the rear package tray or on top of the backseat center for convertibles,known as a Cobra Eye.Light is transmitted to each sensor via fiber optic lines that lets the driver know when the headlights and tail lights are emmiting. The Camaro used a special cobra eye,different from this ONE that just sold on Ebay. I have that same NOS Accessory here and it really was ahead of it's time. |
