Default Muscle Car Values 10 - 20 Years Out

Amazing what is going on in the high end of collector cars these days. I am floored by what is happened at Barrett Jackson. It seems like the opening bid on most cars is $70,ooo!! It would appear the gentlemen who wanted to own muscle cars in their youth have come to a time in their lives where they can afford to buy what they want and will pay up for rare, well restored cars.

From what I have seen the younger generation is not so into the muscle car scene. I am 36 and have loved muscle cars ever since I was in high school and had my 70 Camaro SS. Most of my peers (and I only can speak of guys I know) do not seem so into the older cars. They would rather have a 911 or a Ferrari 360. What do you think the next 10 or 20 years hold for the values of these terrific cars? (break out the crystal balls!) The buyers out in Arizona in general look to be in their 50's or there abouts. What happens when these guys (you guys??) are in their 70's and 80's in 20 or 30 years? Will there still be such a huge demand for the 60's muscle?

These are just my limited views and I would really enjoy to get other people's opinions on this!

It's a good feeling to go out into the garage and see my Camaro sitting there earning money.

Mr. 427RCODE I am going to guess this car belongs to you as you have posted in 4 different posts remarks about what a great clone this car is. I can 100% appreciate your wanting to sell your Nova but please do not use this entire web site for your personal advertising.

No offense ment to you sir but I think you can agree with me we must all not give into our personal wants and needs and should not bastardize such a wonderful web site. I think you should post an ad for your car in the "For Sale" section and let everyone know about it from there. Good luck with your auction sir.

these cars are definitely bringing premium prices today. it seems to me though the hemi mopars are a little low this year. most assurdely the supercars of tomorrow will be the 02 ZL1 and Dick Harrell camaros amongst others produced in this time. the folks that had the opprotunity to purchase one of these cars will surely reap that investment back later years down the road.

What a great guy Matt Murphy is also, to be associated with such a fine gentleman must have been a pleasure. GMMG will be your future Grand Spaulding performance, Motion performance etc. and with the possibility of the camaro coming back, wow that will make those cars a great investment!

Did you see the kid that won the plum crazy Hemi Road Runner? Maybe it's just me but I thought he looked pretty young.

They have a saying down here in Florida.
The Old Folks motto.
"My eyes are so bad, I can't see anymore. My hips are so sore, I cant walk anymore. My mind has gone all fuzzy, I just can't seem to concentrate, and I lost my hearing years ago.
Glad I can still drive!"
