Just posted a bunch of stuff on Ebay at No Reserve including a 512 4 bolt block, 7/16 dimple rods, 454 forged pistons, and more.
Check it Out! Good Luck, Jason ![]() |

When did they stop building the 69 Corvettes? Seems like November is awefully late. Can't tell in the pic due to blur, but is that a '69 vette VIN stamped?

I think 69 Vettes were extremely long production due to a strike. The VIN stamping was ground off and someone stamped a new one on top of it. Here is the same pic. Maybe it will post better here. Anyone have any input on 69 Corvette production dates?

Wow, surprised the block went so cheap! At least it went to a regular customer who will probably pick the thing up.

Well, looks like the block will be up for sale again. The high bidder, who I have dealt with numerous times called me last night. He said he has been looking for a block for his 69 Vette project for a long time and this is perfect. Reluctantly, I asked him when his car was built and being a Ford nut he had no idea. Long story short, his car was built in March 69 and the block is back for sale. I will offer it here at the high bid price before it goes back on Ebay or I keep it.
Thanks again, Jason |
