Default 1973 RS Z28 4-spd on Ebay

Some things are incorrect on this '73, but a nice colour combo. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Numbers-M...1QQcmdZViewItem

The engine pad is restamped. Those numbers are crisp and clear.

wrong intake, plug wires, no a.i.r. equit, no exhuast manifold, valve covers are on the wrong side... who knows what else is wrong.

I agree... tough to buy a car for its color.

Frame connectors for a low perf engine, yuk.

Other than the potential for the engine not to be original( as mentioned above) it sounds like the "problems" are all quite minor and would take a weekend under the hood to take care of.
As for someone like me who would want more of a nice driver than a show car I think it would be a good purchase. It seems from the pictures to be a very nice car.

I don't think they are representing it as a concours corect car. In fact, I think the desription is very accurate based on the pics. You guys are pretty tough. I would tend to agree with AutoInsane, nice cruiser with some small issues under the hood that would do well at a local show and shine. Numbers on the engine look pretty crisp compared to most, but I don't think you can say it is a restamp conclusively without a closer examination. Depending on the price, could make a nice car for someone.

I can not be 100% percent sure, but I think I saw this car for sale at Super Chevy Bristol 2 yrs ago with no engine or interior. The smooth finish on the wheels and the welded on frame connectors look familiar.
