Found a 68 Firebird where the guy says
'68 Firebird, Trans AM 4 spd Hotrod 400, Org Paint, No Rust, Garaged, I didnt know there was a TA in 68?? Also how much more for one that has the 400/335 HP engine. Is it worth taking a look at??

I think I can talk him down if there was no such thing as a 68 TA since thats what hes trying to sell it as.
Will need a short flight to get to the car ![]() Wheres the TA registry at???

If its a 400 car ill double check to see if its a RA I or II car which the amounts produced were samll in numbers also. Less than the 58 Z28's, WAY less.

In '68 I had a Ram Air Firebird. That was top dog for Firebird that year. Later in the year they came out with the Ram Air II motor with the better heads. No T/A for '68. There was supposed to be less than 100 of the R/A automatic hardtop cars like mine made in '68 according to a magazine article that I read. I think the Ram Air option was getting close to the price of a Hemi.
