While the fender will fit '70-'77 there were several Part number changes on this fender during the years that it was in production. The changes range fron the early varient with an extention for the washer bottle, to- no extention, and additional holes here and there. It will fit and look correct on the exterior, but the structural changes visible were made on the interior of the fender as viewed from the engine compartment. Can you tell us what year the fender was purchaced from GM?? That will help narrow down which version it is.

Phil, I do not know what year the fender was purchased from GM. I just got it about a year ago with some other NOS fenders I bought from a guy. If it helps the part number is 3981841. The GM sticker is black and white and has the alpha numeric P438A2 in much smaller characters above the part number. I have a second NOS fender same year Camaro and the sticker on it is blue and white.
Thanks for your help in identifying this fender further. John |
