Default Pair Of XF Wheels

I have the pair of XF 69 Camaro wheels which were previously sold to NovaMob3 (Jude Hettrick) from this board, in my absence Jude obtained another set of wheels and would rather have his funds returned. If a board member here has a need for the wheels I will ship them and upon reciept payment can be made directly to Jude from the buyer. Original Daytona Yellow paint, some surface rust but not pitted. Not bent, spin true, lug nut holes not elongated. XF stamps are original and clear. $300 for the pair. Photos available on request. Payment to be made to NovaMob3 after reciept of wheels. Came from a 59,000 mile 69 Camaro. Email or Pm if interested.

Is this a proper sales transaction to get judes money back. What if the buyer doesn't send the money to jude? Are you off the hook?

I still will hold liability, I suggested this to ease any concerns of payment up front to me due to the unfortunate previous situation. This method will work if it is someone who is a relative old timer to the board. I just thought I would provide the opportunity for board members here to have a shot before they hit Ebay. In any event Jude will recieve payment either way, most likely prior to the sale of the wheels anyway.

You are correct on both counts.

I havent looked for a date code but the wheels are original to the car and the cowl tag is the 4th week of November (11D) 1968, a very early 69 Camaro.

Why not just give him his money back, why involve a third party? I also thought the wheels were originally around $200, now they are $300? You are just asking for complications here, keep it simple!

Mind your own business Marlin. If I had the money at this moment I would have sent it. If someone does want the wheels having the money forwarded from the buyer after reciept of the wheels was a simple gesture of good faith so that there would be no concerns about slow shipping after payment, etc, etc. Although the previous sale amount is none of your concern but between Jude and I as the entire transaction is at this point, I will state for those who must know that the amount of $300 is what I want for them at this date, whatever amount that may be over and above what Jude paid is what I would call interest for the inconvienence the entire situation may have caused Jude. Why not find something productive to do such as share your knowledge with others on this board rather then follow me around from thread to thread with your irritating remarks that waste everyones time here.

Whatever, suit yourself, it was a just a thought that your method may cause unecessary complications.
