First Ride

The year was 1970, and a friend of my buddy offered me a ride home in his 1969 z 28. I was in high school and had not riden
in any thing fast. We were on the high way at about fifty and he had it in second gear. He pulled out to pass and the car kind of bog then it hit 4000 rpm and away we went. We went into third and there was the corner comming. We were going about ninty and it was a fifty mph corner. No trouble for the z. After this ride I was hooked. I wanted a 69 z but I wanted the newer 70 motor. If some of you guy's have a storie of your first ride post it.
