Default Anyone have a 1970 El Camino LS6 for sale?

I'm looking for a 1970 LS6 El Camino. I haven't been able to find one. Does anybody have one for sale?

A friend of mine has one and has turned down well over 6 figures for it.

I know where a 1970 SS 396 is. It has a 454 in it that runs, the 396 is complete and the owner says it's the original motor, but needs to be rebuilt. It spun a main bearing. Here is my website with some pics and details.

I love elkys, especially big blocks, but I'm curious who was offering 100K+ for one. I think that would have been a world record price if your friend would have accepted it. Got any pics?

to my knowledge LS6 el camino's are more rare than LS6 convertible's which make them worth more just my 2 cents

As I recall, I think the estimate on the LS-6 ElCaminos was around 500 and the Convertibles was around 100. Dan Carr did a nice poster a few years back that listed all the production #'s using a statistical analysis. Not 100% accurate obviously, but better than the guesses that everyone else uses. The high horse convertibles regardless of the manufacturer generally have market values multiple times higher than the hardtop w/the same engine. Chevelles, Cudas, GTOs, etc.

I'm a fan of el caminos, but even I wouldn't suggest they are worth more than convertibles.
