This is my first post so here goes...I am in Mass and have a good friend of mine that is looking to sell a 71 Monte Carlo SS with a pretty good story. It came out of a warehouse in worcester mass about a year ago, had minor front end damage and had been parked in the mid seventies with about 40k miles on it. A mutual friend bought it, put a fender/hood/bumper (there was no frame damage) on it, painted it, and freshened up the motor (454). It is dark green, buckets, console, etc...and a pretty nice car, not perfect but pretty well documented with the orig. zero mile title and all of the BB options that verify that it is a real SS. My buddy is thinking of bringing it to carlisle in the spring but I told him I would inquire as to what you guys thought this may be worth and if anyone here is interested in taking a look at it.
This is a great board, got directed here from the second gen camaro board www.nastyz28.com, check us out and thanks for your time. email me if you want more info or have any opinion on what this car may be worth realistically. scott whelan |

Not perfect is a big gray area.Depending on the repair quality and the rest of the "not perfect" car $10-$12K. Just my .02 cents worth!
