Does this car have the curved neck on the radiator? It's hard to tell by looking at the shot posted on Ebay.

Motown
This car is from Glockner Chevrolet. If you look at the firewall tag, it is one number away from Dale's car. It was the final piece of the puzzle when I was documenting his car, when I stumbled across the picture in Jerry McNeish's book of the tag of this car. Dale's dusk blue car is also an X11. Anyone know of any other COPO's from Glockner Chevrolet, Portsmouth, OH (southeast Ohio on the Ohio river)? Vern Bauer |

Vern,
I just spoke with the owner, he is in contact with the original owner, he had said when he bought this car new Glockner had 10 COPO's on the lot, one of which was Dale's Dusk Blue car. Dale should get this car, he would probebly be the only person with a matched pair of sequential numbered COPO cars from the same dealer. Whats the odds of that? At SC-Indy a few years ago there was a car presented as a Z/28 with VIN/body number in the Glockner COPO range. Had a non-matching engine; body tag was obviously a repro.

The burgandy car is the one I talked about in the 12/2002 posts about Glockner copo's where the guy bought the fastest one.

Hello everyone just enlisted ! I spoke with motown earlier and yes I agree Dale does need to pair this burgundy Glockner camaro up with the dusk blue car. In reply to Rob,the curved neck radiator is still with the camaro. And yes scunico your right, but maybe the camaro is priced to reasonably well. Anyway,if I can answer anymore questions please feel free to ask. Tim
