Does anybody know where I can find the correct big block valve cover to air cleaner base hose for my 1970 Nova Big Block with the open element air cleaner? Everyone I call says they're out or it is no longer being reproduced. It is not straight. It has like a 90 degree bend to it and it isn't very long. Some of your Camaros and Chevelles must have this same hose. It is the hose on the passenger side valve cover.

Ron,
Check with 800-882-4688. They may have what you need. Also call Corvette Specialties in Blaine, MN 763-784-8577. They both carry parts that are interchangeable with the steel cars. Rick

Have you tried Ground Up? They show the hose in their Chevelle and Nova catalogs. I used that air cleaner on my '68 Chevelle but used a straight hose and the 90 degree elbow in the valve cover. That may not be correct for your car.

Thanks guys. I had called Ground Up in the past and I thought they said they were out. I called them again today and they said they had one. I double checked my friend's 70 396/350 car to make sure I got the right one. If they don't have one, I'lI try the others Rick listed. Ron |

I got the hose today in the mail from Ground Up. I had to order the one which was listed for a closed element (?). My car uses the 90 degree metal elbow in the valve cover and the "U" shaped short hose. It fit perfect. Thanks guys for the help.
