G'day All,
I'm currently buying a 67 RS/SS of a mate of mine. I say currently because I'm paying it off. The car was purchased buy a friend of a friend. 13 years ago it was stripped down for a total restoration. Unfortunately time, money and other projects stopped the car being re-assembled. What this means is that I am buying a complete car in parts..........SCAREY!! I've restored a few cars in my 28 years but never a complete rebuild and never an imported car (IÃm a Aussie in case your wondering). I've been browsing sites such as this for the past few months trying to get information on this car. It seems the more I learn, the more I know how little I know (make sense??). I'd like to put out a request to all enthusiasts out there for information on the 67. Any information will be greatly appreciated. I will always reply to all posts and E-mails. I'm looking at the possibility of documenting the restoration of the car on a web site so that those who are interested can monitor the progress. IÃd like to hear from people out there to find out if this is something they would like to see. I look forward hearing from you all. Mark Jones Melbourne Australia PS I've Attached a photo of what I hope my car will one day look like. This car is a close to mine in color and specs as I've been able to find. |
