Default 67 Baldwin- Motion car

I have found what is supposed to be a 67 baldwin motion car. It is titled as a Baldwin car. But, the one red flag that i saw was the car's vin tag is stamped as a six clyinder car. I have other numbers off of the car if more information is needed.

thanks
josh

I have been seeing that title trick for years. The first time I saw this, I was looking at a 69 Z-28. The only Z-28 specific part on the car was the emblems, but it was registered as a Z-28. The DMV will often type in whatever you want when you move a car from one state to another. I highly doubt that a real Balwin Motion car would say so on the title.

Baldwin Chevrolet sold thousands of new Chevrolet vehicles during the muscle car era.

Very few were Baldwin/Motion conversions sold new through the dealership.

I have yet to see an authentic and documented 6 cly conversion.

This is a common trick on Yenko cars. We've even seen a couple where they misspelled it (Yenco)!

thanks guys!

That is pretty much what i thought on the topic. The gentleman who has the car is i a good friend he took the car in on trade along with cash when he just sold his COPO. He is pretty much just wants to get the rest of his money out of the COPO deal.

The block casting number is T0714LB....which if i am correct is Tonnawanda july 14 but the LB(vehicle application is giving me fits) ANy help for curiousy sake would help

thanks guys
