Default Jenkins Drag Clinic

Just got some of my mail in today with some ebay stuff. Bought a Jenkins /Strickler drag clinic piece from 1969 (the old Z-28). Looks like a factory style piece. Were these factory or just something some dealers put together.
Also of personal interest the seller packed it carefully with some newspaper. After scanning the motor vehicle classifieds I really feel sorry for you guys. 3.1ltr 4 dr Montes, 3.4litr Impalas and who knows what the Buick regals got. Don't you guys get V-8s in your sedans anymore.
I'll be thinking of you when I drive home tonight in my 340hp 4 door 1600kg (3520lbs)
Commodore. Even our base model comes with 200 hp Buick v6. Sad, very sad.

Hey GMH454, don't let the secret out about our modern day muscle. I can just see all of a sudden our population growing from 17 million to 170 million.

Mind you with 'Economies of Scale' that would make HSV's affordable to someone like me, and think of all the great toys the Americans would bring with them...

Ok guys, check out this web site (http://www.hsv.com.au) and then book your tickets

Hey GMH454,
I hope to get to have my "once a year chat" with "The Grump" this weekend. I usually give him some tower wristbans and he always is willing to "field a couple questions" after give him the tickets. I met Dave Stricker's widow and two of his sons last year at the "York US 30 Reunion". The Strickler's were really nice folks. "The Grump" was there too, also there were Jere Stahl, Bill Stiles, Jungle Pam, Bruce Larson and three of Dave and Bill's cars: One of the 62 "Bubble Tops"(there were two),the '63 Z-11, and the '68 Z-28. If you want to see some cool Jenkins/Strickler Drag Clinic stuff, drop Jerry MacNeish a E-mail at www.z28camaro.com . He has some cool stuff!

Andrew
