Cool L78, quite the salesman’s name on the paperwork, Dick Shook. Is this Book Chevrolet Pittsburg related to Bill Book Chevy Altoona as the L78 ‘67 Camaro w/ 4:56 recently restored by the Super Car Workshop, link here… https://inthegaragemedia.com/pace-setter/ ![]() ~ Pete .

Rare bird!
Not only one of 4751 L78's, and one of 1049 of those with an M22; but from the ECL/trends data it looks like there were only 482 L34 and L78 manuals built with the 4.56 rear. No breakdown between the two engines, but presumably the majority of those were L78's. But less than 500 either way!

That's a beauty. I grew up not far from the original owner, and my best friend in middle school lived about a mile away from him. I never saw that one when I lived in Pgh, which is a bummer because that a killer '68.
It's funny, I see more of every other year Chevelle than I see of '68's except for '64/'65 for some reason.
