Default 1934 Ford 5-Window Coupe Custom

1934 Ford 5-Window Coupe Custom

Selling with no reserve on an upcoming Bring a Trailer online auction. View the auction here: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...-coupe-custom/

This all-steel 1934 Ford 5-Window Coupe Custom was owned and built by Todd Lewis of Xtreme Restoration located in Slatersville, RI. The 1934 Ford 3-Window and 5-Wondow Coupes are iconic Automobiles especially in the Hot Rod community. The vision of the build was to create a user-friendly Hot Rod that could be enjoyed and that's exactly what Todd did. This example was restored in phases over multiple years and completed in 2020. During the restoration timeframe it was driven and since final completion it's been driven 680 miles. It was purchased by MS CLASSIC CARS in November of 2025 and December of 2025 is the first time it's been listed for sale. MS CLASSIC CARS completely serviced and detailed this vehicle which is documented with an invoice. This vehicle has a clean Massachusetts title that reads 1934 Ford Couple.

The exterior of this Hot Rod has a super cool appearance especially traveling down the road. The original Henry Ford steel 5-Window Coupe body was channeled 7” on the front and 4” on the rear. This design allows for the body to sit over the frame for the ultimate stance. The body was stripped and prepped to be straight with very good panel fitment. The doors and trunk lid close nicely. It was painted in 2003 Nissan “Canteen Green” with a PPG satin clear coat for a matte like finish. The paint was recently detailed by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS. The paint was decorated with pin stripes by Kent Brotherton. The front and rear tinted windshields both open for additional air flow. Some of the custom exterior features include a black padded roof, operating windshield wiper, Guide Reproduction 34 Ford Truck style LED headlights with chrome bezels and mounted turn signals, black front grill, polished handles, rear quarter mounted antenna, 1948 Oldsmobile tail lights and custom license plate holder. It was outfitted with 15” Wheel Vintiques Artillery style steel wheels that were painted with PPG 2002 gloss clear. The wheels were decorated with pin striping and Ford embossed chrome hub caps. The wheels are mounted to Firestone “Pie Crust” black wall tires that are 5.60x15 on the front and 7.20x15 on the rear.

The interior of this Hot Rod is tastefully done and surprisingly very spacious. During the restoration process it was stripped to a shell and covered with Dyna mat insulation which reduces cabin noise. It's was setup with new Painless wiring including a 17 circuit fuse box. The custom dash was painted black and was outfitted with a 1934 gauge cluster. The headliner, door panels and seats were upholstered in black leather with diamond pattern. The floors were covered with Daytona weave black carpeting and rubber mats. Some of the custom interior features include a rear view mirror, Classic Instruments white face gauges, Rocket 8K tachometer, tilt steering column, 14” chrome 3-spoke steering wheel, Stryker bomber seats with belts, window cranks, door handles, pedals, T-handle shifter and emergency brake handle. The sound system consists of a Clarion stereo with Kicker amplifier, Kicker subwoofer, Rockford Fosgate 8” front speakers and 6x9 rear speakers. Leather wrapped storage compartments and battery are located behind the seats. The original style fuel tank was mounted inside the trunk and then covered with black carpeting throughout.

The exposed engine compartment is highly detailed throughout. The firewall and outer front grill was painted green. The heart of this Hot Rod is a rebuilt 350 V8 with an estimated 350hp. The engine was bored .30 over and setup with a Howards roller cam. It outfitted with Dart heads, EElco finned valve covers and matching air cleaner. Some other parts include a Holley 650cfm carburetor, Delco Remy distributor, Edelbrock Max Fire ignition black wires, Power Master Gen alternator and horn. The engine is cooled by a black radiator with SPAL electric fan and black billet overfill canister. The engine breathes through 1962 Corvette manifolds and a dual exhaust system with Cherry Bomb mufflers with 3” exhaust tips. The engine is coupled to a rebuilt Turbo 350 automatic transmission and 10-bolt POSI rear end with chrome cover.

The undercarriage is very clean throughout. It was refinished in a textured black paint for durability. It has the original chassis which was stretched 4” and “Z ed”. The chassis was stripped, prepped and painted black. The steering system, suspension components and braking system was gone through. It's equipped with orange front shocks and Carrera chrome rear coil over shocks. It's also equipped with Boling Brothers Lincoln style front drum brakes and GM 10” rear drum brakes.
