When I first bought my 69 Z28 in 1999 I had an issue with real heavy chatter letting out the clutch. Car had 4.10's and an M21. I pulled the M21 and found a purple pressure plate, so I assumed it was a ZOOM setup. What I noticed was the disc wasn't the traditional disc, it had pucks. I want to say 6 or 8 pucks, but I don't remember which, and the pucks looked nothing like regular clutch disc material. I'm thinking Kevlar. Previous owner installed this setup with a SFI billet flywheel. Removed the flywheel then and only found an SFI sticker, so I have no idea who made that.

Does anyone have any ZOOM catalogs from the turn of the century that can give a look see at what Zoom offered then? Was ZOOM by themselves back then or were they always Zoom/Perfection? Thanks.
