1970 Chevelle LS6 Convertible – Rare, Documented, one of two Ls6 convertibles known in Misty Turquoise.
Finished in stunning Misty Turquoise with a white bucket seat interior, this 1970 Chevelle LS6 Convertible is a true collector’s dream. Documented by the original build sheet and inspected by Rick Nelson, this car carries the provenance serious buyers look for. Originally frame-off restored over 20 years ago, it still shows beautifully today. While the lacquer paint does exhibit some typical spider cracking, the overall presentation remains highly attractive. The correct, date-coded LS6 engine has been restamped. The original M-22 transmission and 4.10 rear end remain intact, underscoring the car’s authenticity. The odometer reads just 50,000 miles, and the vehicle appears to retain mostly all of its original sheet metal. A few minor incorrect details are present, but the car includes the vast majority of the rare, hard-to-find components that are often missing on similar examples. Offered at $289,000 — a compelling value for a piece of muscle car history. 612-214-1866 Last edited by chads454Ls6; 05-10-2025 at 02:22 PM. Reason: p |

Here are some photos I took during the inspection. Not the best, sorry for that. Also, several have asked me but I did NOT restore this car. The code 34 convertible I restored had a black interior.

Forgot to mention, the car does have a partial buildsheet but it is more than enough to certify it as being real.

Several years ago, while attending the Peach State Chevelle Show, we got to tour Milt Robson's collection. I saw this car there. It's one of my favorite color combos. Beautiful car. I believe it sold for $215k or so when Mr. Robson auctioned off his collection in 2010.
