Hello I am thinking about looking at a 1969 Chevelle convertible. Can anyone help me out with inner and outer wheelhouse as well as trunk dropoff plugs and how many of each? Are convertibles different when it comes to plugs? I’m sure they are totally different than Camaro. Pictures would be great but not necessary. Thank you. Shane

plugs will be similar if not the same, three in trunk, 4 in the passenger area. plugs should have a stamp on them usually a letter and numbers. the inner wheel houses are flatter, on top when installed, than a couple sorry dont have a pic, if you google convertible chevelle restoration you may be able to see it on the body, in think it is done to give the top frame clearance. hope this helps, good luck, andy

Inner and outer wheelhouses are different on converts.
Drop off is same. Rubber plug in front of drop-off should be same. |
