Congrats to Dave Beem,(Protree68),on finally getting ahold of this rare color combination Z/28.

"20 years of calling this man on the left gentleman,finally paid off yesterday.
It’s now mine.The only way you can get the white stripes on a red car is if you got the white vinyl top,and then add the fact that it has white houndstooth interior AND it’s a Z/28 too is pretty special."

Congrats! I got lucky and bought mine from the original owner after 3 years of calling.

I would assume the buyer is the one with the smile on his face and the seller has that "is this a good idea look" on his face...

That's interesting... In 68 the only way you got BLACK Z stripes on a red car was to get a vinyl top.

Mine had black stripes.... Lemans blue, black vinyl top, black stripes. Was considered a special paint option hence the code -2 on the data tag.
