Hi Gang, I found some wall hangers and have a few available.

Scott Drake reproduction 67 & 68 rear panel gas cap covers - just the cover, no lanyard or tether on it or the locking mechanism itself; just the cover as shown.

It's a repop and not a factory item - more like a fantasy piece maybe, not sure what you'd do with it other than a cool wall hanger or to put on a tool box.

Make a coaster out of it? Likely a lot of uses for it. Typical repop quality, it actually looks pretty good IMO. Chrome is nice as is the paint. It's pot metal, NOT plastic.

3901353 is cast into the back, but as far as I can tell that's a made up (part?) number. It does have the correct body curve to it, so not totally flat, but bowed like an original unit.

Lots of uses I'm sure. See the photos.
