Why would he black spray bomb the undercarriage and the engine compartment if it was rust free?

If it is real, I would say so.

Like my buddy once said, "a true survivor is the best can of shut up" you can own.....lol.

The video shows it with a '72 dash. That's odd.

The 4x4 look made me wonder if it's a real survivor. I'm trying to help a buddy find a documented black 70 SS with a TH400 so I still look once in a while. Guess I should put a want ad up for him.

Dan and I have seen this car in person. At the time the motor was disassembled and out of it (all components appeared to be there in boxes). The car had a 468ci blower (as I recall) BB and decked out for drag racing (Dan will know better specs than me). Looked like very nice original paint, the original hood was off the car but with the parts. Not exactly a survivor in my mind given what we saw.

The makes sense, the rear looks like it was rocking a pair of ladder bars at some point in its life.

Wouldn't shock me. I don't think the car had ladder bars when we saw it. I don't have any of the pics but we do have them.

The seller did say he has the POP and Build Sheet.
