If this car does have original paint and sheet metal (other than the black NOS pieces noted) shouldn’t it have a 350 and flag emblem under the Camaro emblem on the “original” passenger side front fender?

I believe the right fender should have the flag and 350 emblems, unless the early models didn't have them, but I thought all models of V8 had, at least, the flag. Could be the original owner had an "encounter" of the frontal kind too and the replacement fenders weren't drilled for the emblems ? The pop backs up the claim of a real SS. Yes, that is a clean car to start with. Wish mine had been built with a 4 speed and posi.

I did some searching over on the CRG Forum and found some discussions regarding very early cars not have the emblems I noted in my earlier post. Here is what I referenced
http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=18163.0 The subject car looks like very nice project for someone. |
