PCV hose did not have ribs that I’m aware of. GM was still selling that hose a few years back but the ink stamping needs to be removed.

![]() The pictured on left was from a 50K mile 69 Z28. The one on the right is from my 67 L78, which unfortunately was shortened when an 850 holley was installed that had the PVC port in the front.

You may want to move that clamp down to the installed position. Long term in that location will leave a permanent impression on the hose. Ask me how I know.

Our 69 Yenko had the original ribbed hose still with the car though I did replace it with one of Doc's as it was rock hard. For 1970 they went to a smooth hose. I have never documented a 70 with a ribbed hose though in all fairness I seldom look at any early build cars.
