Ted is it an oversize piston? Like 49116 R.030?
That is a SBC 350 piston

Hi Spooky!!
All the identification I have on the slug is when I invert it Manley and 49116 show up . There is no 030 or 040 on the piston head making it a 355 or 358 c.i. engine. Domes are way up there and the piston pins are held in by circlips. Lad I got them from ran a front engine dragster with these, but he died out a couple of years ago. To me they are 040 OS as I measured perpendicular to the pin hole maybe an inch down from the top of the piston. I have a few old catalogues but no Manley. Thanks for getting back! Ted |
