I was looking at the original dealer invoice for my 69 Nova, and one of the features on the car was Special Interior Group. Just curious, any Nova guys know what that means/what would be included with that package.....and was it standard or an option package?

It was an extra cost option known as RPO ZJ-3.
It included: Additional bright framing on the instrument cluster, bowtie steering wheel emblem, right front door jamb light switch,Glove box lamp, bright pedal pad trim. |

Ok, Thanks Rick. Not that the Nova if factory correct anymore. It's far from it, but I still revert back to the factory correct part of this car sometimes. I am especially interested in the bright pedal pad trim. I think I will be putting that back to original.
Now I'm wondering if that ZJ-3 package would affect adding a rosewood steering wheel? I assume the optional rosewood wheel could have been added to that package? |
