Machine shop, Lancaster PA
I am looking to purchase a 1968 MO 302 block out of Lancaster PA. I need a reference to a machine shop to have this block magnafluxed and checked before buying.
Any suggestions. I just found out this week that the MO block I bought two years ago from a shop in Florida is no good due to a crack near one of the main cap bolts,despite the shop saying " all machine work done,ready to assemble" Paul

Both are good. I would think the person selling it would do all this leg work for you Canuck?
Tell him where to take it and "you" get a report from the Machine Shop before purchase.

I would recommend CAM'D Machining in the Landisville/Salunga area. They did really good work to my '57 283 block. Really good guys to do business work.
