I have this original GM CD Ignition box listed on Ebay starting at $9.99 with NO RESERVE. It will sell to the high bidder at auction end. This was optional on a select few GM cars in the late 60's and was available as a high performance unit from the parts department. This is a very hard to find original box.

----I have this box and the complete set-up on my 67 W-30. Got lucky and found the whole thing NOS. Its a great system and has many of the same diodes and stuff as 67/67 Corvette transistor boxes inside even though the boxes are much differently sized.......Bill S

Thanks for the comments.
Bill, an NOS one is quite a find and it sounds like it went on an awesome car! Mark, I think this one is Cutlass based on the label. I think all the 60s CD boxes were the same other than the label and possibly the stamped part number. I just found this site with lots of info: https://delcoremyperformanceignitionsystems.net and more info: http://www.ebay.com/itm/172551272126 Apparantly the 68-69 Javelin and AMX also used this system as an option. Just a little FYI in case someone may run into one of those cars that originally had the CD / UHV system and the red distributor cap and matching red coil, there were several numbers of red coils. The most commonly seen red coil has the number 248 embossed on the metal case. That was the common over the counter coil sold as a replacement (and may have possibly been supplied on original cars too) but I have seen several other numbers on original red coils, all in the 240 to 250 numbering range. Also, even though the listing in the ebay ad for the rebuilt ignition boxes Jason linked to doesn't mention it, Chevrolet also supplied the same CD ignition on some cars, most of which were commercial and fleet orders such as taxis and police cars.
