NOS Hone O Drive Overdrive w/ Install Kit

This is a NOS Hone O Drive Overdrive unit with installation kit. All parts are NOS, never used or installed. I opened up the overdrive unit to be certain it had never been used. It is definitely NOS. It has never had lube it in so it should be taken apart and have the old assembly grease cleaned off. In addition to the Hone Overdrive itself, this kit also has the shifter, yokes, U-joint, cables, and crossmember mounts. This is an awesome kit.

Looks like it was originally going to go into an RV based on the shifter. Neat piece and super rare in NOS condition.

I agree. This kit was probably originally purchased for a truck, van, or RV based on the shifter. The tall shifter with the mounting base was generally used on vehicles with seats that sat high off the floor with a shallow tunnel or no tunnel at all. The good news is, the handle has the have shaft an knob as the tunnel mounted shifter so I imagine it could be converted to the tunnel mount shifter fairly easily. Someone will be getting a very cool NOS setup.
