I opened the hood of my Nova to find what initially appeared to be the remenants of a huge rattle snake skin. I live in GA so no big deal but further investigation (after my buddy took off running) revealed that the cooling fins in the core had seperated and were all under the hood! It's a wonder they did not get all wrapped up in the fan, belts, etc.. This core is for a TH400 car, if that matters, and I need a replacement. I've never seen thisbefore and it is a relatively new core, replaced during restoration and only a few hundred miles on it. Where can I buy a correct core for my application that I can trust the quality??

I initially had no clue what had happened, never seen it before either. But now b ack to my question: where can I buy the correct core for my application? I don't need the tanks, just the core and assume it has special rails as alluded to above? The current radiator core has no cut outs on the top like the COPO and I assume the L78 is a 4 core.

Hi Tom, I was just looking you up to contact you. I am in the process of removing the radiator that Wayne installed with your tanks. I wondered about it being a 3 core vs 4 due to smaller size but figured the engine size dictated the core size and all hi perf engines I've seen hve 4. Anyway, thanks for the info and if you know of a source for these let me know. I tried to contact Wayne but no reply yet.
