I'm pretty sure the
C 55 is the Part #,Model #
Denoting "C" for Chevrolet & "55" for V8 as '55 is the first year for the V8
265 C.I. Application for 55 & Up.
Used into the Mid 60's....
As the Hydro formed Steel Bells were popping up.
