Hi All,
For sale here is my 1978 Corvette Pace Car. It has the L82 350ci motor with very rare CB radio option. Motor, transmission, rear, vin and trim tag are born with original. VIN # is unique to the Pace Cars and this is car #892 out of 6502. One quality repaint on an original no hit body. New decals at time of paint. 32,500 original miles. Exhaust is original with the part number on the catalytic converter (mufflers are new). Bottom side of the car is clean. No cracks in the tub. There are many handwritten annotations like the "CB" on the firewall for CB radio and the job # 174. Interior is presentable but does have some blemishes from age. All in all - It is a really nice, authentic Pacer. Motor: CMS code = L82/auto (3/7/78 stamp date) Transmission: Th350 - vin stamp on trans (2/78 date) Starter: January 10, 1978 Heads: B268 (February 26, 1978 date) Original Kelsey Hayes wheels Original valve covers Original smog system Options: L82/Auto, power windows, power locks, power brakes, power steering, rear defogger, CB radio, air conditioning. Drive it and enjoy it any where. Newer radials and gas shocks. Everything works - even the head lights and the entire vacuum system. I think the car is priced fairly. $16,000. These are the next wave of collectible Vettes. I'm losing a garage spot and am very motivated to sell. Man that's a beautiful car and a great price in my opinion. C3 Corvettes are way undervalued; again just my opinion.

Hi Gents, thanks very much. It is a real deal pace car with the original drive train and body. I think it is a very good value with meat on the bone for enhancements and changes as the new owner sees fit. Hopefully it will not last long!
Regards, Dan
