70 Nova Bench Seat - Adjustment
Just got a 70 Nova.
The bench seat wont go back far enough.....my knees are almost hitting the steering wheel. Before I remove it to look - are there multi mounting holes in the seat track so I can remount the seat to the track to position it farther back? Thanks All

If it helps -- on my 71' there are only one set of bolt holes ... TAZ

Nope only 1 set of holes. You can make a plate for each mounting hole to extend the tracks back. But on a nova as you go back you go into the rear floor pan slope.

Also -- the seat belts attach points may become an issue ... TAZ

Thanks all.
Yes - I was looking at the outside seat belts....it would be close but I think they may clear. A friend has the same space problem in his '70 Nova. Weird - every other "compact" car I ever owned that had a bench always had plenty of room.....Dart's, Duster's etc. I'm going to remove it and have a good look.....

Nope, one set of holes and minimal adjustment - bucket seat mounting isn't much better (might even be worse!)
