Default Lemonwood Yellow 66 Chevelle SS

<span style="font-weight: bold">This one is just being sold without going formally up on my web site. Some of you may recognize it... I sold it to the current owner. He's going in a different direction with his car hobby so he's asked me to find it a new home The good news for anyone considering this one.... It's here with me or might as well be.... It's about 8 miles from my home! Below is the full description:

These are some 66's that I have seen or watched being built, that I feel are just the Best of the Best!! They are my personal favorites and nobody has to agree with me, but you are looking at one of them!!

This is an unbelievably awesome car! Restoration is nothing short of QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY!!! Paint, Body, Finish... Gaps, Lines, Mechanicals... Needs nothing!!! A personal friend of mine owned and built this car... he built and owned another 66 SS which is also on my personal top 10 LIST.. But this one here is even better.

1966 Chevelle Super Sport:

“13817” body code

Built at the Fremont CA, assembly plant during the 2nd week of Feb 1966

Original YY code., Lemonwood Yellow/ Black bucket seat interior

396/360hp documented via it's original Build Sheet found in the car.

M-21 4 speed

3:73 posi

Tinted glass

Deluxe seatbelts

Power steering

Power disc brakes

Console

Bucket seats

Gauge package

Knee Knocker Tach

Wood Wheel ( added )

The original engine has lost its way but the car now has a VERY <span style="font-weight: bold">DATE CORRECT</span> 396/360hp motor. Correct carb, distributor, intake, starter, alternator, exhaust manifolds. Correct “444” bellhousing, and a fresh date correct M-21 trans. It has it's original VX coded Harrison Radiator, and new correct Tar Top Battery. The trim tag and vin tag have never been removed (as so many are), and are therefore without issue.

The car was bought at Mission Chevrolet in San Gabriel CA and remained in CA until 2000 when it went to Tucson AZ. No rust issues EVER!, and it
retains &quot;ALL ORIGINAL SHEET-METAL&quot;

Received a complete frame off resto. by my very good friend in TN. Powdercoated frame, full upgraded Hotchkiss suspension (frt and rear) tubular upper control arms with tall spindle disc brake conversion (drum rear).
Pics show it in two diff set of tires and wheels and new owner can choose. Everything on this car has been restored, replated or replaced during restoration. It is just that well done and that NICE!

Car drives and performs as expected with no excuses.... truly a pleasure to drive...and very fast!

FWIW, it has won superchevy Memphis in class, twice selected top 50 show car out of 1800+ at NHRA Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green KY.
Shown very little. About 600 miles since completed in 2006., None Better!

I rarely get excited about selling cars..sure, I enjoy helping find new homes for these wonderful cars, but rarely do I truly get excited...... but I am excited about this car because I KNOW the owner, I know the work he does.. and I know this car will be a NO
DISAPPOINTMENT CAR!! Truly Best of the Best!! and Bonus.... It's right here in my hometown!

I stand behind this car 100%. of course everything is subjective but I wish I owned it.

SERIOUS Potential Buyers Only. Lots of Pics to the Serious Buyers.

Please.... if emailing, Tell me who you are and where you are located so I can weed out the non serious
