Default Deep Creep

Looking for some advice here. I've owned my 68 Hurst Olds for must be ten years now and I'm finally putting the finishing, FINISHING touches on the restoration, Over the time I've owned it, I've detailed the engine compartment three time [completing the third time now] The other two details have turned bad due to lack of use and probably less than perfect storage conditions.

All the steel surfaces under the hood have turned dingy, Fuel lines, Brake lines, brackets bolts on and on...of course I have repainted what was painted and replaced the cheap stuff [again] like the fuel pump, castle nuts, M/C cover and on and on there too. But what can I use to freshen up what I have chosen not to replace [it's already new, just dingy] Fuel and Brake lines, brass ...etc.

A buddy of mine told me to coat it with deep creep...ever hear of that? Any better ideas?

I gotta get this job DONE...Found nice heated storage!

Default Re: Deep Creep

i use deep creep a bunch have a case sitting around...and ive used it for years...and i dont think it will brighten up your stuff..if it sits long enough, it will turn dark on the surface.

id look for something with a mild, very mild acid to clean it, then coat the stuff with cosmoline...you can use an acid brush put it where ya need it, and wipe it off with a rag later

ive used it and it it sounds like what you need
