I would guess that some of this has been discussed before, but this isn't the typical EBay section post. The 2nd listing is a guy named 427king,and it would seem that he has been hoarding the mother load for a few decades.

It isn't every day that you see one of these. Remember, this is the early closed chamber version. It has never been stamped with a VIN,and I don't think it has a CE on it either. It is a blank canvas for stamping. It would even be a re-stamp,because it was never stamped or installed in a car to begin with! http://www.ebay.com/itm/331582666902 A different seller here, but if you check all his other items,it would seem that somebody robbed a GM warehouse in the late 60's. Stuff like this doesn't exist. Say what you want about prices, but somebody went thru the trouble of spending a lot of money on the rarest of rare brand new performance parts almost 50 years ago,and kept them hermetically sealed for the future. A lot of it isn't NOS,but mint original, stuff with no VIN etc. This guy can write his own ticket as far as I am concerned. Check out all his items'this one is just the tip of the iceberg. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-1967-L88...item35e9888737 |

Haha,I haven't. I cant say that I am a hardcore numbers guy or collector,I am mostly into day 2,and vintage race car restoration of 2nd Gen F-bodies,but I do follow the vintage big block stuff.

I walked into one of Chucks garages, and my jaw hit the floor. I have never seen soooo many aluminum heads in one place in my life!
