I need a set of 3927186 heads dated ARRIL of 69. I can still hear the sound my heads made when I threw them in the metal garbage can in 1980, when I put on a set of 292 angle plug heads on my Z and drove to the street machine nationals in Indy!!

And people wonder why I save car parts.
I will look, but don't believe I have any May dates.

Do you want 1.94's without unshrouding or
2 02's with the factory unshrouded machine work ? You can cut and re-seat 1.94's into 2.02's like most guys do and be technically incorrect with "fake" 2.02's

There is nothing "Fake" about this process. Its what the factory did. Plus you have lots of cast iron to work with instead of deeply recessed original 2.02's.

I have a pair of bare 186 heads. They have been magged, stock and unported. Dates are E 2 9 and E 9 9. I believe they are 1.94.
I also have other NOS and used parts for a 69 Camaro. |

Actually there is a visual and physical difference between factory 202s, and 194s made into 202s.

I am aware of the differences, would prefer 2.02's, but would probably take the 1.94's if a set came up. Chuck, too bad you are a big block guy, otherwise I'm sure I would be in your driveway picking up a set!

The factory machining process was different. MOST converted heads are not done correctly. In the hands of the right guy (or gal) they can be made into the same part.
